Troubleshooting Installation

Many products on AppTrovo are web applications built with PHP/Laravel. Here are common issues and solutions.

PHP Version Mismatch

Error: "Your PHP version does not satisfy the requirement"

Solution: Check the product requirements and upgrade your PHP version. Most products require PHP 8.1 or higher.

Composer Dependencies

Error: "Your requirements could not be resolved to an installable set of packages"

Solution: Run composer update instead of composer install, or check that the required PHP extensions are enabled.

Database Migration Errors

Error: "SQLSTATE: Table already exists" or "Column not found"

Solution: Make sure you are running migrations on a fresh database. If upgrading, run php artisan migrate without the --fresh flag.

Permission Issues

Error: "Permission denied" on storage or bootstrap/cache

Solution: Set correct permissions: chmod -R 775 storage bootstrap/cache

License Activation Fails

Solution: Confirm your license key is correct, that you have a free activation slot, and that the domain matches. See Managing Domain Activations.
